The original Edit frame was launched in 2016 and quickly established itself as one of the very best British mountain bike frames out there. Now we're stoked to offer the refined and updated v2 Edit frame.

They say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". So we took the original Edit design and feedback from our customers to make some small but significant refinements. The v2 Edit still has 150mm of plush travel delivered via a Horst link, with the same progressive kinematics as the original. And that's more relevant than ever as the Edit is compatible with the new generation of lightweight coil shocks that we're starting to see emerge.

The key aspects of the Edit's geometry are largely unchanged - it still has a nice long reach ideal for a short stem and wide bar, and it's just as slack as it ever was; 66° with a 150mm fork but our preference is to run a 160mm fork for a 65.7° head-angle.

So What's New?

The Edit's external cable routing is popular with hardcore riders, but a lot of customers asked for stealth dropper routing. You asked and we delivered. The v2 Edit is compatible with stealth droppers. The hose is routed externally to the base of the seat-tube, where there's a port to accept the hose internally from there. It's a super-clean design.

The internal routing gives us access to the new 150mm & 170mm dropper posts, so we were able to reduce the length of the seat-tubes for much better standover clearance. From now on all our bikes will employ dropper sizing, which means you can choose your size based on reach, and manage your saddle height with a choice of dropper post. It also means even the Large v2 Edit looks awesome.

We have a new headtube with the more popular ZS44/56 standard, so you have a greater choice of headsets now. We've moved the seat-cinch slot to the front of the tube so it's out of the way of flying mud and added a drainage hole to the BB. And last but by no means least - there's a new graphics package coming and a stealth black option.

  • We often get asked these questions so we've put together some quick answers for you. More information is available on our Tech Pages, Shipping and Warranty Pages.

How long does it take to build a bike?
Normally around a week for a standard bike. If you have custom options it can take longer but we make this clear in your custom build quote. Things can be a little slower at busy times, but we keep you posted on progress.

Can I make changes to the build kit?
Yes. All our bikes are built to order so we’re happy to customise for you. The best thing to do is contact us and we’ll produce a custom build quote for you.

Can I have a different length dropper post?
We put a 150mm Stealth Reverb on as standard, but if you’d rather have a 125mm or a 170mm Reverb, no problem. Contact us after you’ve placed your order to discuss.

    How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depending on what you order and where you live. Take a look at our Shipping Page for more information.

The size & colour I want is out of stock. Can I preorder?
If it's out of stock now, chances are it's due back in soon. If you'd like to reserve one your can place a preorder. Contact us.
