The ultimate alloy enduro wheelset for your Edit v4, hand built in our Sheffield workshop.
It's really hard to find a quality, well built and well specced wheel set for riding hard without spending a lot of money. And even then, it might not be up to the job. So when we put together the spec for our Works level Edit build, we knew the best thing to do would be to build the perfect wheelset ourselves.
The EX511 from DT Swiss is the gold-standard alloy rim for gravity riding. Offering the perfect strength-to-weight ratio, you'll see it on EWS and World Cup DH level podiums. It's the 30mm (internal) version of the famous EX471. We choose the 32-hole version.
Hope Pro 4 hubs speak for themselves really. Legendary build quality and reliability, totally rebuildable. And although it's possible to spend a lot more on hubs, you're not going to get much better performance.
We tie the whole thing together with DT Swiss Comp double-butted spokes and Prolock brass nipples. It's a wheel build with no weak links. Everything is laced and tensioned by hand in our Sheffield workshop. Tubeless tape and valves are pre-installed so you're ready to go.
Please Note: Custom Wheelsets are built to order and are typically subject to a 2-week leadtime.

We're always working on stuff behind the scenes, and we'd like to share some of those stories with you. Some things work out, some things don't - but it's always interesting.
