We couldn't be happier to announce we will be supporting Max Nerurkar (@3_dumb).

Max's talent on the bike speaks for itself. His creativity and vision are truly unique within the sport, and his ability to express himself through both his riding, art and trail building get us fired up on bikes.

Above all else, Max is a friend and all-round good human. We all go way back with Max; it's been amazing to see his journey over the years, and we are over the moon to have him riding for Airdrop. Sometimes things go full-circle, and this is one of those times. From the dude helping himself to my tools to build sketchy lips in the woods, to the accomplished rider and artist he is now.

Max featured in the original Clayspades video that helped us launch Airdrop back in 2016. He's been a staple in the Sheffield riding scene for many years and someone I always look forward to bumping into down the woods.

Welcome home Max! Stoked to have you repping.

"Riding for Airdrop feels aligned with where I am at with biking at this point in time. I pretty much just ride Wharny. I go there almost every day, often just for a little cruise with the dog. It's beautiful in there and it brings me a lot of peace.

I met both James and Craig in Wharny. The first film I was part of for a brand was filmed entirely in there and it was for Airdrop. So yeah it feels local and local feels good. It's nice to keep deepening my roots and appreciating everything bikes have given to me.

I'm really thankful to Airdrop for being down to support me and it feels great to ride for a company where I am friends with the people who run it. I've got a lot of time for everyone there. They are great people who've done a lot for biking in Sheffield. Looking forward to whatever happens next. Bless up."

I Like Trees

A Colab project between Max and 50:01. Get the kettle on, get yourself a brew, fire up the big screen and wrap your eyeballs around 3:09 of MTB love.

The video part is all Max's vision. Scratch in some old and some new spots, keep it raw with minimal building and ride some trees. Mainly shot in Wharncliffe.. if ya know, ya know. Josh Lewis filmed the video and collaborated on editing. Craig Evans and Rob Southern provided the second angles. We provided the bike and I shot the photos. Thanks boys - proud to be a part of it. Big fan of your work.

James grew up in Sheffield and Wharncliffe is his local. He spent a few years guiding in NZ but now he's back, helping with all things Airdrop.
