Our ethos has always been to build the bikes we want to ride, and that applies not just to the way we design the frames, but also to the build kits. You should be able to buy a bike from us that's just right from day one, with no need to change anything out. Which is where the Reserve 30 HD AL wheelset comes in.
The Edit MX Core gets a factory built wheelset with DT Swiss 350 hubs laced onto Reserve HD30 AL rims. That's already one of the best alloy wheelsets out there, bar none. Especially taking into consideration the lifetime rim warranty. But the Edit MX Works gets our own hand-built wheelset with Hope Pro 5 hubs laced onto Reserve HD30 AL rims with DT double-butted spokes and Prolock brass nipples.
This 'upgrade' product enables anyone buying an Edit MX Core to upgrade to the same hand-built wheelset we fit to the Works model. Just add it to the basket alongside your Edit MX Core (you can also add it on the Edit MX Core page).
