The Edit v2 Hope is something we wanted to do for ages... An Airdrop Edit built with a full complement of Hopetech components. The best of British all in one bike.

The Edit v2 frame was designed and developed in Sheffield, and the idea was always to produce a proper mountain bike. That means aggressive, up to the minute geometry, quality construction and dialled aesthetics. Nothing too flashy: just a bike that's fast & fun to ride, easy to maintain and will never let you down.

The Hope build is for anyone who wants to keep things as British as possible. Or maybe you just appreciate incredible engineering. After we launched our Hope Bike Build video we had a lot of requests for custom bikes like this, so now we're offering it as a standard option. You get Hope brakes, rotors, cranks, chainring, headset, spacers, stem, grips, seat clamp, hubs and rims. And all available in 6 different anodised colours (we deal with that after you've placed your order).

When you buy a bike it's worth considering the long-term. That's why we keep a full catalogue of frame spares including bearing kits and replacement dropouts. You can even replace the decals.

  • We often get asked these questions so we've put together some quick answers for you. More information is available on our Tech Pages, Shipping and Warranty Pages.

How long does it take to build a bike?
Normally around a week for a standard bike. If you have custom options it can take longer but we make this clear in your custom build quote. Things can be a little slower at busy times, but we keep you posted on progress.

Can I make changes to the build kit?
Yes. All our bikes are built to order so we’re happy to customise for you. The best thing to do is contact us and we’ll produce a custom build quote for you.

Can I have a different length dropper post?
We put a 150mm Stealth Reverb on as standard, but if you’d rather have a 125mm or a 170mm Reverb, no problem. Contact us after you’ve placed your order to discuss.

    How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs vary depending on what you order and where you live. Take a look at our Shipping Page for more information.

The size & colour I want is out of stock. Can I preorder?
If it's out of stock now, chances are it's due back in soon. If you'd like to reserve one your can place a preorder. Contact us.
