Give it both barrels.
When Cane Creek sent us a sample of their Inline Coil shock a couple of years back it was immediately obvious that coil shocks were back in a big way. And customers agreed: it became one of our best-sellers. Now we're offering the Edit v3 with the full Double Barrel version, with a Climb Switch. This is the real deal.
The small weight penalty is more than made up for by the incredible small-bump sensitivity, and the linear spring feel means you make full use of the Edit's 155mm rear wheel travel. But what really sets the DBcoil CS apart is the Climb Switch, which improves pedalling efficiency massively but keeps the suspension active at the same time.
In short, the DBcoil CS is the perfect partner for the Edit: beautiful engineering and finish, civilised when you want it to be but it's an animal when you point it downhill.
