We think this is the best British bike you can buy sub £3k.
We don't normally think in terms of cost. We're not a commercially minded business; our mindset is more about making things the best they can be. But what we learned from the Edit v1 and v2 is that that customers always wanted to upgrade to about £3000. So when we designed the Edit v3 range, the big question was what's the very best bike we can do at that price? And that's where the Edit v3 Luxe comes from.
The obvious place to start: the new Edit v3's alloy frame offering 155mm rear and 160mm front wheel travel. It was designed around the new Metric shock standard so first up we specced the new Signature-Series Super Deluxe Ultimate. The best air shock Rockshox have ever made. The fork is a Lyrik Select which can handle anything you can throw at it. 12 gears come courtesy of GX Eagle with a Descendant crank, matched up to a Descendant stem and Descendant DH bar (we like details). Stopping duties are taken care of by the Guide RE 4-pot brake - that's a Guide lever and a Code calliper. And to round things out, a WTB Proterra wheelset rolling on i30 Tough rims.
