We're a bit overstocked on Edit v4 frames in X-Large, so here's a bargain for you. Brand new, unused with full warranty at £400 off. In stock right now.
Over the years we've built a lot of bikes with Cane Creek's coil shocks. They've always been a great option for riders who charge hard but also like to fettle a bit, working through the tuning to dial in the perfect setup. Where the Rockshox shocks offer incredible performance out of the box in a fit-and-forget way, Cane Creek gives you that as a base tune with loads more potential to improve. And let's face it, they look the business. The Kitsuma is the latest iteration of the DB line and makes it easy to use with tool-free, intuitive 4-way adjustment.
We're now offering the Kitsuma Coil in two stroke lengths: 60mm for the standard 155mm rear wheel travel, or 65mm if you want to build a long-travel Edit with 168mm rear wheel travel. Use the spring rate chart below to help you decide the best spring for you.

Choosing the right spring rate is key to getting the most out of a coil shock. Work out your total rider weight - including your normal riding kit - then use this chart to choose a spring. You can use the shock's preload adjuster to do the fine tuning later.
These spring rates are calculated based on the Edit v4's kinematics. Even if you're used to running coil shocks on other bikes, you may need to check the right spring for the Edit. These calculations are based on 33% sag and a 65% rear / 35% front weight bias. On the Edit's 205mm shock length, 33% sag measures at 185mm eye-to-eye.
