A limited edition Fade full build with Marzocchi Bomber DJ forks and Chromag cockpit.
We say that the Fade is a dirt jump frame in it's rawest, purest form. It's not an extra-small version of something else. It's not a bike that's designed to be versatile. It's a legitimate dirt jump & pump track platform, pure and simple. In addition to the Fade Luxe and Works bikes, we like to mix things up with our limited edition series and this is the latest model.
Let's start with the obvious: the Marzocchi Bomber DJ. These forks are as rare as unicorn poo right now but we've got 5 sets just for this build and yes, they're the red ones. We've produced a red decal kit with an exact colour match to keep things looking clean. And on that theme, we've gone for a Chromag cockpit on this bike - a Fubar FU40 alloy bar with 40mm rise paired with a HiFi 31mm stem. All black, to match the frame.
After that, things get a bit more familiar to fans of the standard Fade builds; all tried & tested, top-notch kit. The wheelset is Halo Chaos DJ (bushdrive) with Halo H-Block tyres. We think the tanwalls work especially well with this colour scheme. There's a Descendant 6k crank, DMR blade 28t chainring and an 11th Gusset sprocket giving our favourite 28-11 ratio. The saddle's a Burgtec Boost and grips are Gusset Sleepers. The brake's a SRAM Level T hydraulic unit with a 160mm rotor, set up with a couple of loops of hose (can be run right or left).
The Fade frame is available in one size only. It's designed as a compact dirt jump & pump-track bike but reach is a little bit longer than most, so it's perfect if you're a mountain biker accustomed to modern, long enduro bikes.
