We provide full assembly information in the Tech Area of the website. But axles are faily straightforward. If you have an Edit v1 or v2, you need a 12x148mm non-boost axle. If you have an Edit v3, v4 or Filter v1, you need a 12x148 boost axle. If you have an Edit 27.5, Edit MX or Filter MX, you need a 12x148mm UDH axle. And if you have a Slacker, you need a 12x157mm UDH axle.

We'd always recommend a quick visual check: if it looks like the one you have, it probably is. But it's fairly straightforward: the Mech Hanger Dropout is common to the Edit v1, v2, v3, v4, Bitmap and Filter v1. The UDH hanger is common to the Edit 27.5, Edit MX, Filter MX and Slacker. The UDH hanger can also be used on non-Airdrop bikes that have the SRAM UDH standard.
Airdrop Bikes Axles & Dropouts
We design Airdrop frames to be ridden often and ridden hard, but also to be easy to live with and easy to maintain. The early bikes, which included the first four generations of Edits, the Filter and the Bitmap, all had the same interchangeable dropout system. That meant you could easily replace the mech hanger or the brake mount on any of those bikes using the same parts. Of course, we still keep those spares in stock today. Since the advent of SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hangar (UDH) standard, we've designed the dropouts around that, providing access to the latest direct-mount drivetrains and future-proofing the designs.
