A stealth Edit v2 built around an orange Fox SLS spring? Yes please. Kris asked us to put together this beauty of a custom build and we were very happy to oblige...

If there's one thing that never seems to get tired, it's a stealth build. You can hardly get more classic than a fully blacked-out bike, but if you ask me, the custom build we put together for Kris is just one step better. That Fox SLS spring just makes the whole thing pop.

Kris' Bike Spec

Kris' custom build is essential a variation on our stock Edit v2 Coil build but with a few tweaks here and there. Instead of the Cane Creek DBcoil IL, Kris went for the Fox DHX2 with Comp Lever and an orange SLS spring. I have to say, that spring being the only splash of colour on the whole bike looks amazing. Kris also swapped out the SRAM Code R brakes for a set of Hope Tech 3 E4s in black, with a 203mm floating rotor up front and a 180mm out back. There is also a Hope AM stem and a set of Chromag Fubars to complete the customisations.

As ever, it's the details that count so we put on some refinements, such as the Hope Tech SRAM shifter mounts, to make sure everything's fully dialled. The saddle is our own exclusive WTB Volt Race with black-on-black graphics.

Custom As Standard

We're always happy to put together a custom build. It's not something that we actually charge for, because to us the main thing is to make sure that every customer leaves with their bike 100% how they want it. That's just how it should be. OK it's a fair bit more work, but while we're still a small operation and we're building bikes to order, we can do it and we'll keep it that way as long as possible. If you're interested in a custom built Edit or Bitmap, take a look at the custom builds page and give us a shout. And remember it doesn't need to be a fill bike - we can sell you as much or as little of a bike as you need.
