The idea behind the Fade is for it to be a proper dirt jump bike. A bike that inspires you to push harder at the pump track, begs you to throw shapes at the skatepark and loves getting sideways at the trails. It's agile and easy to get on the back wheel without being twitchy. Geometry is tight & snappy but still long enough that you're comfortable coming off your 'big bike'. A mountain biker's dirt jump bike.
This is where you'll find everything you need to know about the Airdrop Fade. Shop frame options and full builds, plus answers to all your questions regarding geometry, sizing and compatibility.

The Fade frame is available in one size only. It's designed as a compact dirt jump & pump-track bike but reach is a little bit longer than most, so it's perfect if you're a mountain biker accustomed to modern, long enduro bikes.
One size, one brake, one gear. They say less is more, and a bike like this is best in its purest form. There are no removable dropouts and no option to run gears. No ISCG tabs, no weird BB standard. Just clean lines and a heap of fun. What the Fade does have is super-clean horizontal dropouts, a threaded BB and cable routing for a rear brake only.
The raw frame option is the classic Airdrop raw finish; brushed by hand with a gloss clearcoat on top. Every one is a little bit different. The matte black is a finish we developed for the Edit - a super hard-wearing, deep matte powder coat.

All Fade bikes are built to order in our Sheffield workshop. Whereas many stock dirt jump bikes can be a bit cheap when it comes to components, the Fade is legit throughout. A frame as good as the Fade deserves the right build kit and our choices on the Luxe and Works bikes don't disappoint.
