Stealth Series is a run of limited edition bikes spanning the whole Airdrop range. With a fully blacked-out colour scheme and hand-picked build kit from rider-owned brands, these bikes are on another level both in terms of aesthetics and performance.
The Edit MX Stealth is built around a limited run of frames with a matte black powder coat finish and a black anodised rocker - a combo we've never sold before (you can choose Raw or Elastoplast if you like). The head-tube badge is black brushed alloy and the decals are gloss black. We've selected the Zeb Ultimate 170mm fork in black, with custom-made black decals to keep it stealthy. They're paired with a Vivid Ultimate Air shock, also with custom black decals, and the stroke upped to 65mm to deliver 168mm travel.
This is the first limited edition Edit MX build we've offered, so it needs to be special. We've imported NSB Talon Cranks, Chainring and BB, built to order in North Shore Billet's Whistler machine shop. They're fully CNC machined, DH/Freeride rated and independently tested at EFBE Pruftechnik in Germany. They're good. Really good. The dudes at NSB all ride bikes and they know what they're doing. But perhaps more importantly, they're anodised. In black. To keep things stealthy we've selected SRAM GX AXS wireless 1x12 drivetrain. Dropper duties are taken care of by BikeYoke's new Revive 3.0 post and Triggy lever.
The wheelset is built in-house with Reserve HD30 AL rims over Hope Pro 5 hubs in black. They're wearing Continental Kryptotal Enduro rubber front and rear. Stopping power is courtesy of SRAM Maven Silver DH brakes which - in spite of their name - are of course black. To finish things off we went straight to Chromag, putting a Riza stem up front and pairing it with an OSX 38mm alloy bar, then added ODI longnecks and a Chromag Mood DT saddle.
At Airdrop we say we build the bikes we want to ride. And we really want to ride this one. Working with NSB, Reverse, Chromag and BikeYoke means everyone involved rides bikes and is in the game for the right reasons. We're incredibly proud that we're in a position to make bikes like this, and offer you the chance to own one.
Only 15 Edit MX Stealth bikes will be built. Stealth Series owners will get a numbered certificate of authenticity with the bike, signed by the builder.

Choosing the right spring rate is key to getting the most out of a coil shock. Work out your total rider weight - including your normal riding kit - then use this chart to choose a spring. You can use the shock's preload adjuster to do the fine tuning later.
These spring rates are calculated based on the Edit's kinematics. Even if you're used to running coil shocks on other bikes, you may need to check the right spring for the Edit. These calculations are based on 30% sag. On the Edit's 205mm shock length, 30% sag measures at 187mm eye-to-eye.
